Ford Motor Company has been at the forefront of technology in their vehicles including their safety features. Ford introduced the Co-Pilot 360 in 2018 with a list of advanced safety features like pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, rear view camera, auto highbeams, lane keeping system, and blind spot monitoring system.

Ford has enhanced the package over the years and even made many of the features standard equipment with some more advanced features available in some add-on packages. These packages included many different features with different names like Co-Pilot 360 Assist, Co-Pilot 360 Assist+, Co-Pilot 360 1.0, Co-Pilot 360 2.0 packages.
This can be very confusing to the consumer to the point on the refreshed 2025 Ford Maverick where they listed the Co-Pilot 360 Assist (not Assist+) as standard on XL and XLT. To help everyone understand the packages on the 2025 Maverick, here it is.

Co-Pilot 360:
Auto LED High Beams
Lane Keeping Aid (not the full Lane Keeping System)
Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
Rear View Camera

Co-Pilot 360 Package ($795), all of Co-Pilot 360 plus:
Available on the XL, XLT, Standard on Lobo 402A
Automatic Emergency Braking Oncoming (new for 2025)
BLIS with Cross Traffic Alert
Cross Traffic Brake Assist
Evasive Steering Assist
Lane Keeping System
Road Edge Detection (Lobo 402A only)
Intersection Assist
Rear Parking Sensors
Power Exterior Mirrors (XL only)

Co-Pilot 360 2.0, all of Co-Pilot 360 Package plus:
Standard on Lariat, Tremor, and Lobo 702A
360 Degree Camera
Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Predictive Speed Assist, Stop & Go
Front Parking Sensors
Lane Keeping System with Road Edge Detection
Post Collision Braking
Reverse Brake Assist
Pro Trailer Backup Assist (Job 2 builds)
Pro Trailer Hitch Assist (Job 2 builds)
As you can see this can be very confusing but we hope this helps to clarify the packages and the availability of the features in the different Ford Co-Pilot 360 packages. There are some new safety features that are new to the Ford Maverick like the Road Edge Detection, AEB Oncoming, Cross Traffic Brake Assist, and Reverse Brake Assist. Most of these features are not new to the Ford lineup and it’s nice to see them brought to the 2025 model year.

As we have discussed in many Maverick Monday videos, the Pro Trailer Backup and Hitch Assist will be included in the Co-Pilot 360 2.0 on all Lariat, Tremor, and Lobo 702A Mavericks built on or after February 3rd, 2025. If you have a Maverick built before that you will not see those features in your Maverick.
