2025 Bronco - Ford is Listening to Bronco Owners

Since the launch of the 6th generation Ford Bronco in 2021, Bronco owners have complained about interior lighting, vents for the rear passengers, hard top noise, and other things. But I think for is listening to your complaints in the different forums because the 2025 Ford Bronco is seeing some changes.
The 2025 Ford Broncos are starting to hit dealer lots and we are getting a first look at some of the subtle changes that Ford didn't really highlight when they opened up the order banks in October of 2024. I had a chance this week to take a close look at a 2025 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the body color hardtop, which is new for the Bronco outside of the expensive Raptor version.

On the exterior, I noticed a change to the side steps that not only make it look better but also helps with mud and snow from covering the boards. It seems they have a lip that goes up to the body and on the front and back of the boards. They almost create somewhat of a mudflap. Now we don't see that unsightly pinch welds that so many have complained about.
The Bronco now has several top options between cloth, gray molded in color hardtop, black painted hardtop, and body color hardtop. The black painted hardtop is not available on the Base and the body color hardtop is not available on the Big Bend. Of course the Heritage Edition only gets a white painted hardtop and the Stroppe only gets the Antimatter painted hardtop.
It seems that on some of the trims the headliner on the hardtops are different. The Outer Banks I looked at has carpet covering about all of the hardtop where a Badlands I saw on Bronco Nation forum has the same headliner as last year, just rounded pieces. It seems the Outer Banks tops could be quieter than the other trims if this is true.
On the interior, we have seen the introduction to the rear HVAC vents on the back of the consoles on the 4 door automatic version of the Bronco. But it seems that the front console has changed because of it. This removed the wireless charging pad for those Lux Package Broncos. They also removed the console grab handle on most trims unless you order the Sasquatch Package or the Black Diamond Off Road Package. The Badlands and Raptor retained the grad handle as standard.
The interior lighting has also been a big complaint, so much that many aftermarket companies have been selling light kits since 2021. For 2025, Ford has finally upgraded the interior overhead reading lights from one single light pointing straight down to two lights angled towards the outboard seats. In the rear cargo area, Ford went from one single cargo light to one on each side giving the owner more light to see their cargo at night.
Some Bronco Raptor owners have enjoyed the 12" Productivity Screen the last couple years. For 2025, all Bronco owners will get the 12" Productivity Screen to go along with the upgraded 12" Center Stack screen from 2024 model year.
So it seems like Ford is listening to your feedback, so keep posting things you would like to see or things you would like to see less of in the different forums online. Bronco6g.com and thebronconation.com are two great sources of information and Ford is watching so give them your feedback but be kind about it. Maybe your idea will make it into the 60th anniversary of the 2026 Ford Bronco.
